The National Academy for Excellent Teaching (NAfET) is redefining professional development for high schools in New York City. Dedicated to raising student achievement in high-need secondary schools, the Academy provides professional development programs that combine summer institutes, in-school workshops, onsite coaching, and online resources.
The Academy is currently partnering with 15 schools, primarily in the South Bronx and Harlem neighborhoods of New York City, and plans to expand across the nation over the next several years.
Districts and schools interested in working with the Academy may submit an application by email, fax, or mail.
